Homemakers Mortgage, Inc., founded in 1990 by Ron Sawzak, had a vision of setting a new standard of quality service that surpassed the competition. We feel we have been an industry leader in providing our loan customers with the most creative and innovative loan products available in the market, while at the same time providing them with the lowest possible rates. Once serving over 15 western states, we have since re-focused our efforts on Central and Southern California from our headquarters located in North San Diego County.

Homemakers provides a wide variety of loan products geared to accommodate customers with the optimum in rate and terms whether they are first time home buyers or just in need of a refinance. In addition, we offer a wide assortment of home equity, home improvement, bill consolidation, and construction loans. What’s more important about Homemakers is that we never forget our customers. Ron Sawzak - President

Ron has been involved with the mortgage and finance industry for over 30 years. Previous to founding Homemakers in 1990, he worked for GE Capital Corporation, Meritor Credit Corporation, Ford Consumer Finance and Security Pacific Credit Corporation. In his last three positions he served in an Executive VP role. Because of his wealth of experience in addressing the needs of consumers, Homemakers has become one of the most respected mortgage companies in California. Through community involvement in many Chambers and association with many national trade organizations such as the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, California Association of Mortgage Brokers, National Home Equity Mortgage Association, Homemakers stays informed and “tuned in” to the needs and wants of the market. He firmly believes that the true growth that Homemakers has experienced over the years comes from you, the satisfied customer. Your continued business as well as your referral of family and friends is the “keystone” to our longevity.

Glen Jackson - Vice President

Glen you might say worked his way up the ladder from the mailroom. A graduate of Northern Kentucky University, Glen has been with Homemakers for over 10 years and has worked in every facet of the loan process from underwriting to sales. He knows just what product is right for you and at the same time is looking out for the best rates while providing you with the optimum in quality service. Through Glen’s efforts Homemakers has aligned itself with all major national lenders. Whether its purchase, refinance, construction, home improvement or bill consolidation, he has at his disposal the “right loan at the right price”. His continued professionalism and notoriety in the community and marketplace have helped to elevate Homemakers over and above the competition. He firmly believes in our motto that a customer of Homemakers is a customer for life.

Dave Smith - Loan Officer

Reporting directly to the VP, Glen Jackson, Dave handles new lead to loan generation by direct marketing to referral sources as well as making himself available to several local trade shows and street fairs. As a result of Dave’s efforts and over 25 years in the business profession, turn-around time is minimized thereby providing you with the optimum in quality service.

Janice Jackson - Loan Processing Supervisor

Janice has been with Homemakers since 1998 when she was hired into an entry level loan processing position. Over the years she has mastered the art of application completion, processing, packaging and underwriting interface. In short, she has “seen it all” and is ready to expedite your loan through the system with the utmost of confidence, proficiency and ease, making it easy for the customer no matter what type of loan they are requesting. Janice feels that her attentiveness to details and belief in open lines of communication with the loan customer are the keys to her success in the profession. She believes that the more that you, the customer, knows makes for easy closings and your continued business in the future.
